Default Re: Tsunami Engines/Drives Questions????

Frank..yes it is..it was up around 4500 or so about 3 months ago...Its going to be there for a while..I think!!! My neighbor is aware of the boat as well...he knew the former owner...and told me the boat has not been in the water for quite a while (years he said)

yes... cheaper to buy two engines...guess those AQ 69-70s are old school with lots of issues (after doing more research)..I was thinking of going with new power but I would have to get the boat and trailer at a discounted price to be able to afford them..I was also thinking of going with a bracket and purchase a used outboard..around 225 or 250..but again money is the main issue...always is..then bouncing the idea around about 2 3.0 Jasper long blocks..but dont know if the 270 outdrives are functional..(darned trim units are around 300 plus dollars..if you can find them!!!)..so another bag o worms there as well!!!Also, I am not set up to pull those engines with my little engine hoist (worked good on my shammy but obviously not on this hull)
The trailer is also a 1975 no brakes etc...etc. so in reality I would be purchasing just a hull ...and at that price its not feasible or profitable in the end... for me at least (guess they never really are)!!!!..

Plus my gut feeling told me to walk away from it after a long inspection etc..!!!!

Just thinking outloud and typing...excuse my babbling!!
