I will be needing an engine but I've decided to concentrate my efforts to getting the boat ready for the motor.

I still have so much to do and $$buy$$ and even after that the trailer needs some attention.

Your motor sounds nice but may be a little more engine than what I'm looking for....and running premium gas...yikes

I did miss out on a nice Merc 200 that was in great shape with great compression that needed a lower unit and I could have had it for $500...slept on that one
