Between the datasheet and MSDS it looks like polyester resin and microbaloons. Kind of dense, though. 7.1-7.3 lb isn't much less dense (lighter) than water, and certainly more dense than many woods. And isn't there an issue with polyester in wet locations? Better than wood, but not ideal.

I was looking at research papers on doing this and found a paper showing microbaloons and vinylester as having a much lower density when 50-60% microbaloons. At 60% it starts to run the risk of fracture like a ceramic, but the skins contain it. Generally stronger than douglas fir. I will see if I can find the reference.
