The Museum of Science is excellent!!!... and interactive for the squids. The Gardner museum is a little gem as well.
FH is a good lunch spot. Go to Beacon Hill, out to Cambridge
and Hahhhvahhd Sq. Drive really aggressively or get run over. Almost impossible to get a ticket in metro area in daylight.

Mystic Seaport in Ct. is a great nautical museum.
