Dirt bikes, street bikes, snow machines, and outboards have all benefited from CDI and other advances since the old days. I had an `85 Moto Guzzi LeMans 1000 and it was stellar. Got a ticket in the mail for 40 points. First charge was "attempting to elude an officer" Nobody taught him how to ride that Kz1000. Should have smoked me. Gus was far from stock.
I had heard that I was clocked at 151 one Friday, and I wasn`t wide open all day.
I was all over Vt. that day.
