Gerry,

The Bert 31' is a hell of a boat, but it is not known for being dry. It is known for being incredibly strong and "able' to handle a significant sea but not neccessarilly handle it comfortably! Also, it does not have a enclosed stand up head with vanity.

The 28' has a significant step down/up in its cockpit. Plus it is tough to find one at this price in this shape. Their cruise and wot are nowhere close to what this can do- mid 20's cruise and 40+ wot.
