I run a 2006 f250 on a 23 and get 47+/-mph WOT, sucking about 17-18 gph, cruise around 29-31 mph @ 41-4200 rpm burning 9gph, Two 250's is way to heavy. A new single 300 would be prime, less weight than the 250 and more hp. Twins for peice of mind, but for fuel burn and running cost gotta go with a single.

So....

Buy both and sell one!
