Its funny how little love cats get until you go on one. True you dont have that "Romantic" sailing feel of heeled over and water rushing by, but when I look at the GPS and were moving along at 7knts in 15knts of wind, and most mono's are doing 4-5 and their drinks are slipping off the tables, etc, and ours are nice and steady even the nasty stuff, whats not too love? Plus with almost a 15' beam, it gives our trolling rods really good placement apart
, and we love to fish while sailing.
We dont have to reef until over 20kts of wind, and can go up on almost any beach w/ out worry. Our old Mono even w a shoal draft we carved our initials into the bottom everywhere.
