Nope,I wasn't the lucky one.I'm an idiot.I figured that there was no way in the world that this boat would have sold for under five grand.
I was thinking that it would have gone closer to 8 or 9 thousand at the very least.
I was out on lake Ontario salmon fishing on the last day of the auction. We came into the slip and went to my buddies marina where I keep the boat and got on his computer to check the status of the auction.
When I saw where it was I couldn't believe it.

I'm not exaggerating, true story, there was literally 12 seconds left to the auction when we got onto Ebay,no where near enough time to place a bid(it's the computer for fishing licenses and extremely slow).

That's when I realized what a stupid stupid man that I am.I'm still not over it.All because I thought it would go for more than I could spend, and that with so many bids I could never get it,so instead I made the mistake of staying out on the water like a dope.
I just hope the buyer realizes what a good deal he got.I wish him or her well with their lucky find.
