I learned about seacrafts from floorboy last year when he was looking for a boat, and ended up buying his.
Everyone that has been in his boat fell in love with it. A friend of Rod's that really knows boats, he grew up a charter captains son on lake Michigan, really liked the boat. He is the kind of guy that doesnt mince words. Called a few others that had fished with Rod, same conclussion, that boat is awesome. Cannot beleive its a 23'er.
I was actively searching for boats this last winter/spring. I came across a 92 25' sportcraft fishmaster, it looked good in the pictures, so I hired a marine surveyer to look at it. Long story short, it was rotted from top to bottom. the surveyer said this is not uncommon with this brand.

Back to the boat search. Rod called and said there is one for sale that has an almost new 350MPI/ bravo outdrive in Massachusettes. I called on it ( the Entourage), and think I drove Mike nuts for a few weeks asking questions. I hired a surveyer from that area, it surveyed very well. In fact the surveyer told me " I have been in boats for 30+ years and it takes a hell of a lot to impress me, I was impressed". " Let me know if the deal falls through, I might buy it". That was after a sea trial on a windy day at buzzards bay. Rod and I made the looooooooong journey from SW MN to Fairhaven, Mass. Bought the boat and brought it home. Cannot thank you enough buddy! Took about a month to get it ready for great lakes fishing with more improvements on the backburner. Cant do it all at once. This spring a custom top similar to Big easy's ( John 123) is going to be made. Other things are: radar arch with a rocket launcher and rod holder tubes on the sides, garmin autopilot ( allready have the hydraulic steering installed), kicker motor, paint the deck, bow rail. Love this boat.
