I have twin 175 optimaxs, Tops out in the low to mid 50's ,is not squirrely "props have alot to do with that" I cruise around 39 to 40 mph at 4200 to 4300 rpm with the smart guages I get aroung 3 mpg ,I have checked it several times and depending on conditions it's close
