If you got that 27 in Jupiter it was probably owned by a broker named Wayne Roman. He was a broker for Gilman Yacht Sales and bought the boat from his boss Dave Gilman. It was painted yellow and named "Bananas" and had plywood gunwales with spruce carlins. That was in the late 70's. There was another one here in those days with twin Volvo inline 6 engines and single lever controls. It was a little confusing because the bow ballast tank was controlled with the same shift levers as the engines. One let the water in, one let it out. Very nice ride and not as rolly as you'd think.
