Yeah it's almost like a trick question. I have inclosed mine to a full transom. I used 3 sheets of marine grade plywood, I bedded and sandwiched a sheet of 1/2" between 2 sheets of 3/4",using a marine grade of epoxy I got from Shine; it's now 2'' thick and has a layer of 6'' tape around the perimeter and a layer of 1708 on it. I'll add more layers later, I ran out of epoxy and my new orders on the way.
I'm sure there are other designs with later models out there, take your time looking at the vast array of photos out there.
