you'd have to be smoking some high test wacky tobaccy to drop 175k on this sled.

whats the market here?

-trailer-able
-diesel
-no cabin
-lack of modern storage(same old anchor locker in pics?)
-outdrive not so hot in water all the time (no pocket on this hull)
-23 feet VDH planing

That above says to me near/some off-shore tuna fishing, family with wife and kids not so much, no different than my rig in its targeting fish and range and wave taking capability, at like 6X the cost. uh yeah. its still a 23 footer.130 gallon tank at 12ish MPG at 30-33MPH for me. so my range is less than a diesel yes, but its not about that range ability maximized, exactly how much pucker factor offshore in a 23 footer are you willing to take? More with an inboard diesel than a modern 4S? gonna head 50-100 each way in this rig? doubt it for most. Diesel raises fish? dunno bout that, get the rigs out of the propwash with outriggers and center rigger, works great for me.

my 2 cents if i go diesel, i go downeast and be able to head 100 miles each way and target giants wherever they show. cabin. trailering becomes not the problem, its the fish being targeted and purpose for the boat. for me its all dreaming i cant afford any of the alternatives! but they would be many before this boat if i was thinking tuna,diesel,175k budget. if want trailering, diesel, cape cod marine 26. even they are overpriced-but look like a bargain compared to 175K 23 footer.

i just dont see this setup as a family boat pulling up on the beach. it could be used for that i suppose, but so many other options at less price if thats the case.

must be some serious money backing, to be doing spec niche boats in this market.

glad to see though keeps people in jobs, and maybe our boat values went up!
