What Denny said. I have a 150 1990 carbed merc. on my 20MA, no t-top. She will do about 42-43 top end, easy cruise upper 20's. Fuel burn about a little less than 2mpg. I would probably go with a 115 Etec as my replacement based on the performanc of Skip & Carla's boat. Good performance out of the hole and a reasonable cruise with low fuel burn. I really like the idea of being able to plane at as slow a speed as possible for those offshore days when it kicks up to solid 4 feet with 30+ mile ride home. If I lived on Fla's West coast like Dixon I might want more speed.
