High Performance Polymer for Transom Repair
I have a two part 1:1 mix ratio, polymer for transom repair if anyone is interested.
it is low viscosity(easy mixing and pouring), no filler needed, but may be added, up to 50% to extend the product volume.
No to Very low shrinkage- unlike Polyester, generally, Polyesters, especially in large volume masses will shrink, cause distortion, warpage and potentially pull away from substrates, they continue to shrink for weeks- Perhaps that's why expensive no- low shrink tooling resins are sold.......Ponder it....They also continue to evolve styrene for weeks, months.
