I'd have similar questions for the owner. Although those are probably some of the lightest motors available for that application, I notice that they have Doelfins installed, so I wonder if low speed planning was a problem?! Maybe not an issue, since with that much deadrise that boat doesn't NEED to slow down for much, at least in terms of wave heights! If it doesn't already have them, 4 blade props would be a good addition.

Connor has indicated that his I/O Seafari 25 likes more weight up front, and outboards on a bracket will move CG in the opposite direction. Maybe adding a rubber ballast tank in the bow like Moesly planned to have in that boat would be a good addition. Might be worth trying to contact Big Fluke for his opinion. He's a naval architect that has run a lot of tests on the effects of CG position on Seafari 25 hull's ride and handling. He hasn't posted here in a long time, but maybe Strick or Island Trader would have contact information for him. Denny
