The waterline aft is much higher than mine, a single 5.7 v8 with outdrive. Might be the old water line designed for twin 6 cylinder i/0s. It looks like his water shot is floating very high, much higher than mine with minimum load. Looks like the chine is out of the water at the transom. Empty fuel tanks?
One thing that will help very much on handling, planing speed and roll is to get a larger fuel tank and put it as far forward as possible. Forward edge of my forward tank is just aft of the step down. You will need the extra fuel for any serious offshore work.
