I saw that you also had the same posting on THT, but I didn't want to jump in the fray over there.
People alway feel that because they put x amount into a boat, they should get return on that money, that is not the case if it is poorly done.
These are some items I would consider or ask about.
1) It is a single engine bracket, not much flotation there, the boat looks like it floats VERY low in the stern, look at the scum line on the bracket and on the bow of the boat.
2) There has been some home made ventilation cuts in the prop, they are trying to get this thing out of the hole.
3) The overall craftsmanship of the re-do is very poor, and this is the stuff you can see, what about what you can't?
4) How does the deck drain? 72's did not go through the bottom.
5) The wiring and rigging is poorly done.
6) Check to see that it has a clear title, and is the right title.
All that being said, there is some value to stuff, hull, t-top, engine. Decide if the boat suits your needs, decide if you want a continuing project, check to see if the engine is good. Make an offer on that.
In my opinion, it is not a turn key boat for that kind of money.
