Where is your cavitation plate in relation to the bottom of your boat? Did you have a ventilation problem before swapping props? If so drop the motor one hole and retest. I had the PVS plugs with the small holes for most of the props I used (mirage plus 17P, 19P, rev 4 19P, Highfive 17p, 19P and tempest 19P) which did allow the prop to spin up easier. I suspect your motor height might be the issue.
