Funny thing on those latches. While racking my brain on what to do, a friend said why don't you use the rubber tie downs that are on the high end coolers?
So I did some G'ing and found them and the parts list...except since they are boat related ($$$$) they wanted $35.00 for each latch. No way
So I thought I have seen these before somewhere
hood tie downs on race cars/and or jeeps. Went to a race catalog and found them for $8.00 each and the metal parts are high grade stainless...a real bit.h to drill.
