Is repowering these hulls an issue considering the weight of a new 4-stroke in the 115hp-150hp range?

Lastly, does anyone have firsthand knowledge of this hull and a late 80's early 90's Grady 19 dual console that can offer a comparison between the two?
Freeboard at stern is 23" ...
Re-powering is a concern. Weight is the enemy of maximum performance. They only have a 7.5' beam and a sharp entry so buoyancy is not like some clumsier boats. The 20 is strong and nimble . Recent model re-powers I'd consider:

DI 2 strokes

90 (330 Lbs)and 115-130 Etecs (375-390 lbs)
115 Optimax (375-390 lbs)
115 Tohatsu (375-390 lbs)

4 strokes

90 - 140 Suzuki (345 - 421 lbs) the 140 Zuke is the biggest I'd go only due to its power to weight advantage.
Merc 115 lbs (400lbs)
Yamaha F115(400 lbs)

The lightest 150 hp 4 strokes are the new Mercs at 455lbs and that is simply 100 lbs to much.

Second hand, the Sceptre will ride much better than the Grady 19 DC - no comparison...
