Looking back, I once had a leaky fuel sender in my old IMP. Chitty thin gauge flange, jimmy-rigged screws, etc. With your new hoses and double clamps, I think Denny is on target with a leak around the fuel sender.

Just a reminder, as I was recently reminded - when you cut your plate hole use a pneumatic tool, don't need no unnecessary booms.
