There is no doubt the Chrysler twin piston compressors of days gone by were the best A/C units ever! Thankfully they had a thermostat 'cause it would run you out of the car if it didn't!! My parents had a '66 Dodge Polara with the 383, was a bad ass car....went through three teenagers including me!! Thank Goodness the back seat can not talk!!
