Gillie,
You're kind of right ... Clipper made by Craig Systems, same as American Marc.
Here's the history write-up on the American Marc page on Fiberglassics website.
-----------Begin Copy----
"In January 1960 American Marc made a deal with Craig Systems, Inc. of Lawrence, Mass. where Craig would make the fiberglass American Marc boat line for sale in 17 eastern states. In August 1960 Craig Systems leased a 50,000 sq.ft. complex in Haverhill, Mass. for the molding and assembly of the fiberglass American Marc boats.
Meanwhile, American Marc was building a new boat factory at 2601 Manhattan Beach Blvd. in Redondo Beach, Calif. It was opened in April 1960 and a news article claimed it had the capacity to make 12,000 fiberglass boats annually. In February 1960 the company announced it would build a factory and showroom in Miami, Florida."
---------End Copy-----
Notice the last sentence. That factory was built in Miami, Florida, by Arther Vining Davis, for building American Marc boats and the plant to be operated by Carl Moesly. As the boat building section of Am Marc out in California started going belly up, Moesly bought the Miami inventory ... and that's how SeaCraft began!
RockDoc ... so ya wanna see the aft-end???? It's not the SeaCraft bottom ... But she was built after SeaCraft was incorporated, so to add confusion, the title says it's "SeaCraft".
