Another point to consider is, back when, the factory agreed to repair these engines when they discovered they had boucu problems (Like a Recall per se')
Make sure that the seller has paperwork from them showing that the upgrades / repairs were done.
One being injector straps. Without them, they come loose & spray fuel all over creation, thus FIRE!!
As Go Fast would tell ya " check that the man did da repairs & be leary of runnin` the motahs"
