Agree with others, they do for sure. You can also check the "satelite" screen to see if you are picking up anything. If no satellites, its prob the antenna. Hbird can trouble shoot over the phone.
The matrix is older technology so you may have some trouble replacing the antenna. Newer antennas on most manufacturers are much more reliable. Many now are internal which would save you from installing another one.
