I've looked at the consoles offered by C&M Marine, Panga, etc. I'm also considering looking for the original console in an attempt to keep the rebuild close to a restoration. I'd love to hear how everyone chose to acquire/build a console and perhaps some rough dimensions.

I'd be forever grateful for some assistance here, I obviously want to do this right the first time.

I personally don't like the original consoles. There isn't much storage on our 20 footers and I like storage, so I went with a fairly large looking console from Panga. It's actually narrower than some of the originals at 33", but it's higher and a little longer at 47" or 48". That's just my personal preference. I'm a hands on type of person, but I just didn't want to mess with making or modifying one. I have a fresh slate to start with. Panga didn't mention it on their site, but the console came with a bifold door, which made the price a little easier to swallow. My two cents.
