One nice feature of the Seafari is that with that big cabin, it's real easy to put a lot of gear up front and also keep it dry! That big stepdown aft of the cabin door on the earlier models also makes a good place to sit a 70 qt. cooler which can also be pretty heavy!

Before my first Bahama trip over 35 years ago, I mounted pad eyes to the bulkheads in all 4 corners of the cabin so I can lash everything down to keep it from shifting around when it gets rough! Also mounted pad eye's in all 4 corners of the cockpit for the same reason. The last thing you need in rough seas is to have your load shifting around!
