Ok, got a bug up my a-- Friday. Left for the islands at 2330, arrived Cat Cay 0530.
Long slow night sluggin it on the nose, wet.
I found out something I already knew, but forgot.
The new outboards may be efficient, but none of it means a crap if you aren't able to maintain a plane. Sloggin it over there at 11knts SOG, was just burnin fuel, anehoo, I made it, but was not prepared for them NOT to have fuel.
Long story short, the "Konk lived up to her name, and had a beautiful trip home and caught a dolphin. L.I.G.!! :-)
