I will say that making the 23' to look like the conch will not be good in the ocean with swells. Just from being in my 23 and others, it will put you to close to the water. Especially trying to raise the floor. It would be better for an inshore boat.
My next project is turn a 20' into a flats boat with the cut in the shearline, like the conchs. And maybe a tunnel in it too
