mine is not a "Potter" either.
Digging thorough the hull before rebuilding her i found the glass laminations were quite good.
I have seen first hand "bonafide" SC's that were tossed together just as bad as any other production boat of the time.
INMO what makes the seacraft special is the hull design. when choosing a re-build, I would not care if a hull was a 71 or 85.
