Good luck George,
You're not alone that's for sure.

My septic system is shot, and a new one is going to run anywhere from 7,000 to 12,000 ,By the time everyone gets their slice of the pie.

My boiler is on the way out,and a new system is going to cost about 5,000.

I had to replace a large portion of rotted sills on the house this past summer, did it myself, but still cost 1,000.

Two months back, all the injectors on one bank of my Ford F150 5.4 crapped out, they were covered by a revamped warranty from Ford but the plugs were fouled and had to be replaced, they broke four of them in the heads, another 800.00 bucks down the drain.

Had to put a new roof on the house did that myself as well,so I saved a lot of money, but the material was 2,000.

It just never ends,it's always something now the driveway is looking like it needs at least some partial replacement.
The back porch is slowly falling apart and needs replacement, more money to be spent on that.

I've been wanting to get myself another Seacraft in a ctr console design like a 20' just to fool around with in the salt, but I don't see that happening with all the money that's being diverted to the repairs and projects that never seem to end.

I shudder to even think of what will happen if my employer decides to drop our health insurance.

OBAMA CARE? I'd slit my wrists before I'd ever sign up for that turds tax program disguised as health care.

I just want one more year so I can take my soc.sec.bennies and call it quits, maybe do a few things on the side, and finally get a chance to spend real time on a boat that I spent three years restoring.
I'm hoping that there actually is such a thing as re-incarnation,and hopefully,I come back as myself,so I can start on Seacraft collecting much earlier in my new life.LOL

Let's face it,the home projects never end,and the money never stops bleeding out.
Wealthy or poor, a little money or a lot of money,it's all relative, most everyone ends up being a member of the same club at some point.
