Default Stay'in ON TOPIC

OK, So I needed to check out the new "cutter-head" I ordered from Ken at Prop Gods, for the Dredge Marshtackie to make sure it would work properly at LONG POINT for the dredging I'm planning on doing. But man, the wind was howl'in at home and the weatherman said 18 to 22 from the ENE.

Then I remembered what Conner taught me back in the 70's - the "Weatherman De-Lier". First you take your boat to the ramp, like your going to go no matter what. Then you walk out on the dock with a solo cup filled half way with up Vodka. Then you put your back to the wind and look carefully in the solo cup. If it isn't "white capping" in the solo cup - you GO. If it is "white capping" in the cup, you drink the Vodka first and then GO!

The prop worked well - ready to go to work creating new channels at LONG POINT in May.
