I hear ya' Sandy, Most people don't know that your heel bone is more like a light bulb than what one thinks of as a typical bone. If you shatter it with a severe impact and need to re-set it, it would be like putting a light bulb back together with duct tape. Most the time they re-set as a series of broken pieces and it is almost impossible to get it correct without putting it in a new cast every two weeks. My favorite brother-in-law went through that torture for a year.
At Long Point I suppose the important thing is that we get a couple of good confortable chairs by the fire, a half a solo cup of Don's Elixer and just like in CCR's Green River, we'll "watch them barefoot girls danc'in in the moonlight".
