Stringers are probably fine, they should be the glass over foam type and generally they last a long time. You need to check the foam in them and make sure it is not wet and soaked full of water. The deck has plywood in it and not the balsa like the older models so it will wick water up faster and rot out quicker. You should be fine to use with the existing stringers but might carry some extra weight if they are water logged. You can also add some drain holes to the bottom of the stringers to help drain it out if a problem but most people end up digging it out and redoing the foam.
