John Lloyd State park, also known locally as Whiskey Creek. Crowded on weekends and you can't go too far down the creek before it gets shallow.

Connor, you've stumped me on this one. I grew up in Lauderdale, but I've never heard of Lake Maggiore. Lake Sylvia and Lake Mayan are the lakes in the area you're talking about that I used to go to. There's a 7.5 HP merc outboard somewhere in the muck on the bottom of Lake Sylvia that I inadvertently deposited there in a moment of youthful exuberance back around 1973. I also saw my first Seacraft there. It was a red 18 with a 150 Merc. I wanted one bad.
