Les, Welcome to CSC! Where you will find addicts who can't have enough SeaCrafts, the enthusiast who tinkers all the time on their boat, and everyone really loves their SeaCrafts, regardless of year, size & model.
Your Dad was a very wise man...
Your boat is in incredible condition and your TLC through the years is very evident.
The numbering scheme for the Moesly Scampi boats began either at 800 or 801.
It was originally believed there were only 12-15 built. However, your number of 824 is evidence that there were at least 24 built. So far found is 804, 814, 817, & 824.
And then his successor to the company, Potter, also built a few and #15011 has been found and currently under extensive and incredibly beautiful restoration.
The numbering for the 21' started at 50 or 51. I have #71. There have been several other 21's found numbering in the 100's.
Enjoy your boat and if you have any questions, this forum is filled with experts to help you out.
Cheers!!!! Carla
