Just thought of another. I was out with Moose in his Septre on a truly nasty day in the Gulf, blowing like stink, short vicious chop that got up to 5 ft or so. Moose has his boat dialed in just perfect. We were running for part of that into about 3-4 at around 16 knots. I was standing up by the steering station and it was handleable. Not comfy, but ok. Faster would not have been good. Sitting down that far forward in the boat was out of the question. Seated in the rear would have been fine if there had not been so much water flying. Comparing hulls, I'm confident the 25 would have run through the same conditions 2-3 knots faster and with the driver sitting down.
