I haven't used the Fin-Nors, but the Shimano Triton series is as good a reel as I've used for the money. The TLDs are just tough, reliable reels and parts (the only thing you're likely to need is drag washers) are readily available in my town. We take BFT, YFT, Yellowtail, striped marlin, threshers and makos without worry on 20s and 30s.
