Welcome aboard to a very educational forum! Although I do some fishing and a lot of diving, I've done
LOTS of cruising for the last 39 years in my Seafari, including half a dozen trips to the Abaco's in the eastern Bahamas back in the late 70's/early 80's! You won't find a more comfortable, versatile, seaworthy, and easily trailerable cruiser than the 20' Seafari.

If you're used to a Whaler you will be amazed at how much softer the ride is in any SeaCraft! If you want to do some serious cruising, forget the CC models and look for a Seafari! An added bonus is that since most of the guys on this site are only into fishing and don't appreciate the unique capabilities of the Seafari, so they can often be found for thousands less than the CC models, even though only about 700 were built by Moesly and Potter for 10 years starting in 1969!
The real blasphmey is that some Seafari's have been butchered in a very expensive attempt to convert them to a structurally compromised CC model!
