Maybe that is a 30" motor. It sure seems to be sitting up high there. That would explain all the freeboard on the bracket. Due to the good original condition I'll bet the new owner didn't raise the floors. And due to that heavy motor the scuppers probably are at or below the water level. Just put the plugs in and no water. The way the bracket looks I doubt it offers much flotation benefit. Nice looking Sceptre!!
