That looks like a good find with nice power! Your console is much narrower than the one that came in my '89, definitely an improvement. Has it been changed? Also check carefully around the mounting screws for the console and leaning post for soft spots or any movement. Mine was soft around every screw. It was balsa core and the rot hadn't gotten too far out so I was able to cut out small circles of balsa and recore instead of having to do the whole floor.
