Scepter Cuddy hatches

Your hatch looks very nice.
I have the original hatch on my Sceptre and the vinyl has mostly disappeared (I found some shreds remaining and deduced what it was). Now, after reading your note, I am going to get a piece of vinyl to cover the piano hinge and see how it works. Perhaps also will have to make a piece to seal the front end. Where did you get your vinyl and was it any particular type?
Where do you put your hatch when you are using the cuddy?
