I'm a Florida boy, but the Air Force sent my family to Kansas for 4 years when I was 10 years old. I got a Remington 870 for my 11th birthday. We had Pheasant for Thanksgiving until I was 14.
Takes a least 2 to feed a small family. And the local boys out there taught us to roast them covered with bacon strip to keep them moist...uuummm. That's how we do our turkeys to this day
