Man, Wish I had never read that post about the '99 25 footer above.

That said, I have a '98 23 footer that has held up well. Plenty of little issues, but most were engine related - and nothing major (knock on wood...). My biggest knock is around some of the layout (like that in-deck livewell), but nothing hidden there.

Going through a major rebuild currently in Stuart, and aside from some old wiring issue, they haven't found much that was out of line either.

As you're probably aware, SeaCraft has long and sometimes complicated history (some great threads about in on this site and on THT).
I'm biased (because I own one), but I've never heard much negative commentary around the hulls that came out of the Silver King / Seacraft plant in Punta Gorda, FL in '97 and '98 when they re-introduced the line. If they hull ID of the boat you are taking about begins with "SXC" its one of these.
