There are still plenty of sails around then - it would be worthwhile to check before you come. Booking a skipper may be tough as there is a big tourney going on in Miami April 24 & 25. Expect to pay through the nose for live bait during tourneys, Live goggle eyes (sailfish bait) will be at least $150/dozen and maybe more - pilchards (dolphin & kings) will be $35-60/dozen. There will be a lot of pressure to catch your own bait too so plan for lots of time catching or lots of cash, take your pick! Dolphin have been pretty steady right through the winter and a few kings should be here too.
The night swordfishing has been hit & miss but it is certainly worthwhile to try it since you are starting out late in the day. Listen to channel 72 in the Lauderdale area, it's good to keep an ear on what is hitting the deck day and night.
