Well you two Terry's are the first I've ever met that shared their
Pirate background. My dad was in the Navy during WWII and spent the last of his four years at Guantanamo with my Mom. This was pretty sweet duty- the tropics, beautiful beaches, cheap beer, other Navy couples, etc. When I was on the way, Dad shipped Mom back to new Jersey because no Navy doctor was going to deliver his kid! I take it part of the entertainment was
Terry and the Pirates and thought there were some movie serials to that effect in addition to the comic strip.
