here we go
the first orderof business was for randy to fix a hasty decision I made to squirt potter putty up under the gunnel between the cap and hull sides. the pic is of the 2 lbs of putty he ground out. after it was all cleaned he glassed the cap to the gunnel all the way around.

he ground down the outside of the cap where 42 years of rub rails and what ever else was mounted an put some glass on there also. He got more glass on the rear boxes where I ran out of time do to stuff before I brought it to him. he shaped and grounded and put the 1708 down in a certain way so any of the inside angles were not cut pieces. Its amazing home much I learned in his shop in the couple hours I was there.

the fairing was applied to the inside hull liner and was starting to get faired.
