For 6k you should be able to use good marine ply with decent resin and still have some $ left over if you are patient. I've been able to get pretty good pricing on almost everything for my 23 and could have saved some by using plywood instead of Coosa. Use the internet to research prices before you pull the trigger and don't go farther than you have to on anything. Spend money on whats important and can't be redone later. Enjoy the build and don't stress the schedule.
